Legal
Terms of Service.
These terms govern your use of MMIX Publisher ("the Service"), operated by Marketing MIX, 208 Booth Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
01The Service
The Service is a publishing tool that lets you post short videos you select to social media accounts you own or are authorised to manage. It currently supports TikTok. It is provided to the Marketing MIX founder, our team and the clients we work with.
02Your account and authorisation
- You connect a TikTok account through TikTok's official Login Kit and may disconnect it at any time.
- You may only connect accounts that you own or that their owner has authorised you to manage.
- Every post is created only after you choose its settings and press Post. The Service does not post automatically.
03Your content
- You keep all rights to the videos and captions you publish. You grant us only the permission needed to transfer them to the platform you choose.
- You are responsible for having the rights to everything in your content, including music, and for disclosing commercial content where required.
- Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Music Usage Confirmation and Branded Content Policy.
04Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and to avoid publishing content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive or harmful; attempting to access accounts you are not authorised to use; or interfering with the Service or with the platforms it connects to.
05Third-party platforms
The Service depends on TikTok and other platforms. Their availability, posting limits, processing times and decisions about content are outside our control. A post may take a few minutes to appear after it has been submitted.
06Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we receive and how it is used.
07Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
08Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by logging out and removing its access in your TikTok settings. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
